In a world of technology, freedom and faith, there lives some people, always neglected and rejected. Among them is a boy named Sohel, who lives in Gaza. He is seventeen years old and has a younger brother, who is only six. They once had a happy life in their home, but everything changed after that day, their home was destroyed and their world brimmed with suffering and fear. Their city was and remains a place of casualties, constantly under threat, the people are living in uncertainty of mishappens, trying to survive each day with great trauma.
Sohel and his little brother awakens to the sound of danger. The air is heavy with smoke, they never know when a new attack will occur. Despite the fear and agony surrounding them, Sohel is learning to protect his brother. Their life is difficult, having to find food and water themselves, alone, every day. The struggle to survive is never-ending. Sometimes kind people and organizations provide help, giving food or clean water. But not everyone can receive it, and the amount is never enough, no matter how much they bring.
Although their world is broken, Sohel and his brother tries to live like ordinary children. His brother plays whenever he can with whatever he can, while Sohel tries to balance hope and survival. Each day brings about new challenges, yet Sohel's courage carries him forward. He dreams of a future where they can live without fear, where they can have a peaceful life and try to rebuild what was lost.
In a world filled with destruction, Sohel and his brother are small lights of hope. They remind us that even in suffering, courage and care can be pillars of enduring, and that kindness can still be found, even in the hardest places.
