On 24 January 2024, Sayem, Jay, and Raju gathered at Sayem’s house. They were deep in discussion, talking about their careers and the future that awaited them. Recently, they had completed their engineering degrees, but none of them had yet passed the CSP exam, leaving them uncertain about their next steps.
Jay spoke first, expressing his thoughts on finding a good job. “We need to improve our skills and prepare better for the opportunities ahead,” he said. Raju nodded in agreement, adding, “It seems that sometimes political connections matter as much as knowledge in this field.” Sayem listened carefully, considering their words.
He recalled how his uncle knew only the basics of coding, yet his father’s political influence had secured him a position easily. This realization weighed on Sayem. “It’s unfair,” he admitted, “but power and connections often open doors that talent alone cannot.”
Despite this, the three friends decided they would not lose hope. They agreed to support each other, study harder, and explore every legitimate opportunity to build their careers. They spoke about balancing their ambitions with integrity, determined to achieve success through hard work while understanding the realities of the world around them.
As the evening passed, laughter and concern mingled in the air. They planned their next steps carefully, knowing that the path ahead would be challenging. Yet, together, Sayem, Jay, and Raju felt stronger. They carried not only their dreams but also the courage to pursue them, even in a world where talent and effort sometimes had to compete with influence and privilege.
